Mentors To Guide You
Vivian is the lead of development and growth of a successful personal lines department in six locations spanning across two states. She is a Santa Fe native with over 23 years’ experience in insurance. She is a Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor, helping successful individuals protect their complex insurance needs. Vivian also mentors others as a founding member of the Phenomenal Women’s Chapter of American Business Women’s Association. She currently works for HUB International and represents many of the top insurance companies in the US. Her philosophy is simple, she treats others how she expects someone to treat her, her family, and her friends.
Troy H. Baldwin, MBA, CPCU, AU, is a Senior Marketing Representative for EMC Insurance Company in Northern California and Northern Nevada. He has worked in senior management, underwriting, sales/marketing, training/development, and insurance agency owner in Utah, New Mexico, and California. Troy is also an educational professional with experience teaching at professional and college level as an adjunct professor. He has taught insurance classes both locally and nationally for groups such as the National Alliance and the CPCU Society. He is past president of the National/International CPCU Society and the Utah CPCU Chapter. Troy also has extensive communication and marketing experience in the internal corporate and B2B environment, as well as external B2C environment.
Jennifer Beck Herrera
Jennifer Beck Herrera has over 25 years of experience in the Insurance Industry with a diverse background in Sales, Marketing, Sales Management, Territory Management, Claims, and Education and Development, in both Commercial Lines and Personal Lines. She has a strong ability to develop strategic partnerships and territory development. Jennifer has experience managing all aspects of a multi-million dollar territory from a value-added and partnership perspective while focusing on lead generation and development, increased flow and production, superior service delivery, fiscal management, and joint sales plan execution. She has extraordinary communications capability across all levels of the organization, and strong interpersonal skills. Jennifer is also highly skilled at leading and motivating both internal and external sales teams to achieve sales goals and executing strategic targets through effective planning, training, mentoring, and partnership development.
Angela Johnston worked with HUB Insurance for over 31 years. She has always had the desire to teach and mentor others. As an Insurance Agency Owner, she developed valuable agency operational skills, trained and mentored employees. Her focus when working with clients has been creating customized insurance programs, not just selling someone an insurance policy. Although, she worked in various areas of Property and Casualty, handling Oil and Gas related clients was a special focus of hers. Many of the programs and plans developed with those clients successfully helped to reduce their overall cost of risk. Another passion of hers had to do with continually refining processes and procedures within the agency in a manner that would allow the staff the ability to dedicate time and energy toward building and implementing client plans and not get too caught up in the weeds of the day to day business operation.
